Whether it’s an impossible-to-find vintage or a high-quality “favorite” that deserves a wider audience, the Private Cellar Exchange is where hidden treasures return to the table. Every other week, WiNEisFOOD hosts limited‑seat Wine Exchange Nights. Guests bring special bottles from their own cellars to share, trade, and show off-rare treasures, once‑in‑a‑lifetime vintages, and beloved everyday favorites.
Spots are intentionally scarce, so every exchange feels personal, generous, and unforgettable. Wine was never meant to be a prisoner of the cellar. Many of the world’s most soulful bottles sit in dark rooms, waiting for a moment that never comes. How It Works
As your Private Sommelier Consultant, Pablo Aguilar works with collectors and enthusiasts to manage their personal inventories. We facilitate private, invitation-only gatherings where our wine enthusiast can share, trade, or re-home rare, collectible, high value, or simply favorite bottles from their personal collections.
The Exchange Rules:
To ensure a fair and elevated experience for all, we ask that shared bottles have a minimum value of $50.
The “Host’s Pour”: As your curator, I will always bring something special from my own cellar to anchor the night-a rare find or a personal favorite to ensure everyone leaves having tasted something truly remarkable.
The Vetting: I personally review the Registry to curate a balanced flight. This isn’t just a tasting; it’s a story told through five or six different perspectives.
Pay & Reserve
Seats are limited. Once your seat is reserved, please complete the Exchange Registry below. This allows me to properly vet your bottle, prep the glassware, and curate the evening’s “Why” for the group..

Arrive with one special bottle to share—something you love, are curious about, or can’t wait to brag about. We handle glassware, food pairings, and hosting.
Taste, Trade, and Connect
Throughout the night, we pour, taste, and discuss each bottle. Guests may exchange bottles by mutual agreement, guided by respect and generosity.

Many of the world’s most soulful bottles—rare vintages, impossible-to-find regions, and family-owned treasures, sit in the dark waiting for a moment that never comes. The WiNEisFOOD Private Cellar Exchange is a curated invitation to bring those hidden gems back to the table. What your Professional Consultation Fee ($100) covers: Expert Curation: 30+ years of hospitality expertise leading the educational dialogue, providing professional vintage cork management, and facilitating the private exchange. The Pairing: A refined Snackuterie spread featuring our house-made terrines and Chocolates by the Grape. The Sommelier Service: Premium glassware, temperature control, and professional service for your private collection. Join us for an educational evening where the guest becomes the contributor. Bring one bottle from your personal collection ($50+ value) to share and discuss. To anchor the conversation, I will also contribute a “Hidden Gem” from my own private cellar to ensure the evening begins with a world-class educational benchmark. Doors open at 5pm
We Are Private Sommelier Consultants
WiNEisFOOD LLC operates as a private sommelier consultancy. We do not act as a liquor retailer. All exchange events are conducted as private, consulted gatherings for personal cellar management and educational purposes. Pablo Aguilar acts as the designated consultant for member inventories to ensure professional handling and regulatory compliance.
